Each evening at dinner, my family engages in what has become a ritual. My children ask “How was work today, Dad?” and then “What did you do at work today, Dad?”. It varies slightly on the weekend when “work” is substituted with “home”. I then tell them 3 good things that happened today. My son, who sits to my right, is next to share 3 good things that happened to him, followed by my wife, and finally my daughter. Even when one of us has had a bad day, we try to find 3 good things to share. Here are my 3 good things for today:
