I have read several personal finance books now. This book, “Dollars and Sense”, is the next book to be discussed on the ChooseFI podcast’s book club installment.
Although I wouldn’t place it at the very top of my favorite books in this category, I did thoroughly enjoy it. It was similar to Morgan Housel’s “The Psychology of Money” in that it explains more how we think and behave regarding money, rather than an instructional book on what we should do with our money. Authors Dan Ariely and Jeff Kreisler are able to do so with a good deal of wit and humor.
Definitely a recommended read, especially if you’re new to personal finance material and appreciate humor being injected into what can be a dry subject.
