Google has an “experimental” product called NotebookLM. It is a note capture tool that integrates large language model (LLM) capabilities. LLMs aren’t truly Artificial Intelligence (AI), but that seems to be what the masses are calling them these days because they don’t understand the difference.
With NotebookLM, you can upload files and ask for various actions to be performed. One request is to produce an audio summary of a file, which results in a podcast style review episode of the files’s content.
I uploaded my e-book, It All Makes Cents, and selected the audio summary option. The result was this very realistic sounding discussion about the materials presented in the book. It’s very cool, and very creepy, at the same time.
